No response from MIOS32 Core

I have completed the build of the Loopa Core PCB, in accordance with the instructional video on youtube. After connecting the usb device to my PC and downloading MIOS Studio, I still cannot get MIOS Studio to recognize the device. I am getting the message: “No response from MIOS32 Core, Check MIDI In/Out Connections, and Device ID.” I have restarted both MIOS Studio and the MCU several times with no success. This is actually the second Loopa Core PCB I’ve put together, assuming I messed something up horribly in my build. This time I was very careful and checked all of my solder points multiple times.

I know that windows is a little buggy with the bootloader, so is there anything else I should be trying to get MIOS Studio to recognize the MCU?

Check the BOOT1 jumper setting. This should be jumpered to 0V (GND). If it happens to be bridged to 3v3, disconnect this bridge and connect the center pad to 0V (GND). Probably it’s too late to check that now that the breakout PCB is soldered.
Move the two slide switches to the selections: “Boot Config: Flash” and “Power: 5V In”.
You can try to power the MCU through the USB mini port. Change the power switch to USB for this (and back to 5V in after!)
Check that resistors R101 and R102 are installed.
Try on another PC with more/different power.

After borrowing two other PCs I was able to upload the firmware! I’m not totally sure what the issue was, but now it is showing the current firmware on my PC, so all is well! Thanks for the suggestions!
