load seq_l > SD Card Error -3

I am on step 13 of video 2: Testing JA PCB with MIDIBOX NG. I have flashed MIDIBOX NG and also loaded the SEQ_L.ngc to the card.

After flashing, it reboots but I get a message that “SD Card not found”. Coincidentally, the device still says MIOS32 in MIOS Studio and not MIDIBox NG. Not sure if that is an issue or not but certainly the SD Card is.

The lights on the SD Card PCB are operating along with the reset button.

FWIW, I am using a SanDisk 64GB 170 MB/s SD Card.

Any suggestions on what might be the issue?

I did perform a continuity test on the ribbon cable and there were some failures. I guess I can chalk it up to that for now. The tiny red lines point to the failed tests.

Failures mean shorts or open circuits?
Pins ⅓ of your cable are 0V/3v3 and 13/15 should drive the LEDs on the board.
Try to format your SD card on another device first.

Open circuit but just on the cables disconnected. Realized I totally over did it crimping and mashed up the teeth in the connectors. Lesson learned. Not so much pressure needed and always test continuity of cables when building.

Tests passed. Moving on the next steps.
