No, they are not mirrored/reversed (note in the picture that one connector is pointing up and one down). The micromatch MOW connector has a protruding leg. When assembling the cable, the legs of each connector must be placed on the same side of the ribbon. You could mark the cable or use the red wire, though technically that is wire 1 and the leg is next to wires 7 and 8. In other words, assemble the cables ensuring that the connector orientation matches exactly.
When inserting the cables, the leg goes into the micromatch FOB connector that has a corresponding hole in the PCB. There is also a silkscreen notch that references the leg.
