Thanks for making the thread Hawkeye! I’ve been meaning to post something in here for awhile, but I only just got done releasing the music. On Spirographs, all of the monosynth lines were sequenced with the SEQ v4+ in song mode and then drums and other samples were taken care of by an Octatrack in its own song mode that lined up with the SEQ.
I also sequenced the bassline for Deep-Sea Community with the Seqv4 as well.
Both of these had very linear programming which I love the SEQ v4+ for. In the future, I also want to do more with the loopback tracks, MIDI FX, and the weirder sequencing tricks. I play around with those things but have never based a full track on them.
I wanted to give thanks to the midiphy team for making such an inspirational piece of equipment available! It’s really cool.
By the way, that track sounds great Hawkeye! I’ve got the PCB and some of the components for the MB-6582 but haven’t committed to making it yet. It’s great to see it in action.
