@sushi - LoopA will try to do some tempo-determination in autoloop mode, which works nicely, if the sequencer engine is stopped and you start autoloop-recording - LoopA will calculate the BPM, so that it best matches with the sequence, that you’ve recorded - this works very well e.g. with recorded 1, 2 or 4-bar drum sequences.
If you are receiving an active external MIDI clock and are doing an autoloop recording, i’d suggest to set LoopA’s BPM to the external tempo (in the tempo screen, just adjust the BPM parameter) before starting autoloop recording, this avoids the unwanted tempo adjustment after autoloop recording, in the case of external tempo. Alternatively you can record using the plain ARM recording onto a clip with a given sequence length, which should always work independent of the currently configured tempo.
