Hi, IC4 (a 74HC SO16 counter) is marked as obsolete and unavailable at Mouser. Requesting for a similar part returns no available item (particularly when requiring a 5-bit part).

Could you please let me know which chip could be used instead?

If you’re looking for replacement parts, check for

identical replacement part type: 74HC4017
identical package form factor (SOIC-16)
similar supply voltage

then you should generally be safe.

Okay, thanks a lot. As I’m not really savvy enough to know what it does, I was worried by the fact that the replacement proposed by Mouser is marked as 10-bit whereas the one from the BOM was 5-bit.

Eamoex I understand your confusion, the 4017 is a 5 stage decade counter with 10 outputs 😉
