Hawkeye thanks for the answers! I’m still not entirely clear on how LoopA might work with my setup, so I’ll try to explain it here, and maybe you can let me know how it would work:
I have 3 synths with keyboards: CP-73, SH-101, Juno 106, and I have two synths without keyboards: Sirin, Atlantis. I also have a separate basic MIDI keyboard controller. I want to assign each synth to a track, so that I can record MIDI for each.
I want to be able to play the CP-73, SH-101, Juno 106 with their own keyboards, regardless of which track is active. When their respective tracks are active, I want to be able to play and record them. But when any other track is active, I still want to be able to play them. For example, if the Sirin track is active (and possibly being recorded), I still want to be able to play the CP-73’s keyboard and hear the CP-73.
I want to be able to play the separate MIDI keyboard controller and have it be routed to whichever track is active. So if the Sirin track is active, I’d be able to play and record the Sirin by playing the separate MIDI keyboard controller, and the same for the Atlantis.
Basically, I often use both hands to play 2 different synths simultaneously, and want to make sure I can continue to do that with LoopA. I know I can’t record multiple tracks simultaneously, but even if I don’t record multiple tracks simultaneously, I want to at least play multiple instruments simultaneously.
Does this make sense? Is this possible?
