Is Switching to a specific Clip possible via CC Message?

Hi! I am thinking of buying the LoopA Full kit, but before I decide I have one specific question as stated in the title.

LoopA will be a perfect addition to my Droid system via it’s midi expander and using a midi to CV module. It really fills the gap of having longer patterns of realtime recording and visual editing possibilities which I love ever since I started making music on Cubase on an Atari. ;-)

With two of my Droid B32 Controllers I have the potential control option to create a 6×6 button page to launch clips via CC, similar like the Matrix does or the Westlicht Performer does this via a Novation Launchpad, but then a small Eurorack form factor which I can use to jam with.

I saw in the manual you can launch Scenes via CC# Switch Scene, so I was wondering if this could also be done for Clips, so I can program the buttons on the Droid using CC messages to switch to specific clips for each of the tracks.

Is this already possible, or is this something what could be impemented in an upcoming update?

Lytrix welcome to the forums! And great that you started with the Atari ST as well, i have fond memories of these times! 😃

Right, you can currently easily switch scenes (and sessions loaded from SD card!) via CC. Very often it will make sense to switch a full scene, as e.g. a melody sequence might be associated with a different drum track or CC filter output lane on a different track. So using this mechanism you’d have access to 6 variations via CC and could load other sessions each offering another six scenes/variations from SD card.

But it’s a good idea to add individual scene-selection-per-track as a new CC command target. This is currently only possible using the LoopA UI or the MatriX. Added to the software wishlist, thanks for the suggestion!
