Hi,
I’ve set the beat led to green/blue instead of red/green. As i understood it should first light red/green then green/blue. However it light first blue then green. If nothing wrong regarding the building, and that is the normal behavior is it possible to reverse this led?
Thanks in advance Have a good day, Rgds,
anonyme-x22 yes, it is possible to modify the software - continuation over here: https://forum.midiphy.com/d/184-ui-and-software-update
anonyme-x22 it might need software modifications to match your workflow preferences - continuation over here: https://forum.midiphy.com/d/184-ui-and-software-update
anonyme-x22 without an extensive back-buffer of historic MIDI messages, there’s not much you can do to avoid a MIDI misconfiguration like you mentioned. Often the MIDIbox sequencer stays responsive and you can remove the offending “route” or MIDI clock signal, but software changes from your side regarding this are of course possible - continuation over here: https://forum.midiphy.com/d/184-ui-and-software-update
anonyme-x22 that should work without problems, also all other commands like program changes will work. Make sure you’re sending to the correct MIDI port (1-8), potentially use a MIDI packet sniffer (i.e. MIDI-OX on windows) that checks the output. Best regards, Peter
anonyme-x22 as written in so many other threads 🙂 Changes to the software to match your UI preferences are possible - continuation over here: https://forum.midiphy.com/d/184-ui-and-software-update

I already suggested by email to modify the HWCFG file, did this not work as expected?
You can also swap the assignment in the HW config file: from SR Pin LED_BEAT M5B 1 LED_MEASURE M5B 0 to SR Pin LED_BEAT M5B 0 LED_MEASURE M5B 1
You can also swap the assignment in the HW config file: from
LED_BEAT M5B 1 LED_MEASURE M5B 0
to
LED_BEAT M5B 0 LED_MEASURE M5B 1
Yes many thanks that’s what i needed, however i wanted to know if this is the normal behavior, green/blue first and red/green after, normally that should because A is 2 and B is 3 like for matias switch?
Thanks in advance, Have a good day, Rgds,
Only two out of three colours (RGB) are used for each LED “column”. The beat LED has its own RJ9, so you can have different colours to the lesmecs boards if you want, but never three colours.
i know that but in standard the matias and the led are A1 B2. I did A2B3, so normally it’s the same that the standard however with green/blue. So i think i misunderstood something because i thought that the beat led first lit was red/green then Green/blue , but it isn’t the case. it’s the reverse. or i did something wrong.
RJ9 A2B3 should give you green/blue in the same way that A1B2 gives you red/green. The LEDs throughout use the same numbering: R = 1 G = 2 B = 3 If you prefer the other illumination order for beat/measure LED, just swap the addressing around in the HWCFG.
That’s still not answer my question but i totally agree so i should have misunderstood the color order, in standard it should lit green red red red green… , in my case blue green green green blue… So the device is correctly done regarding this led, and i have to swap them.
Have a good day, Rgds,
