SEQ OS updating via MIOS

Hey all I need a refresher on updating the OS on SEQ 4+. I got the Eurorack modules calibrated and installed and wow, what amazing expansion! I"m on 4.096 and would love 4.097 so I can have the bar length clock outputs.

I have MIOS connected, (MAC, over USB) it sees the SEQ and I can use the file browser to see the contents of the SD card, etc. Seems like Im fully connected. .
I have the 4.097 .BIN on my desktop. .
Now what?

Assuming that you have the MIDI in and out defined, from the main MIOS window, Browse to a file to upload then press Start to send it. Make sure to choose an STMF4 version to send, as the wrong type could brick your processor.

It’s simple as that.

Make sure MIOS Studio is seeing and communicating w/the Seq..
Make sure you’ve got the OS .hex for the STMF4 on your computer..
Browse to it in MIOS Studio, select it, it will be recognized..
Hit start and it will upload. Your SEQ will say “Bootloader Mode” and when done (10 seconds or so) will reboot.
Your HW config file will be the same and so settings there remain (YAY!)
