LoopA suggestions/improvements/ideas

Would it be possible to get the keyboard to play one octave lower (ie: “Keys Octave -2”)? Right now it appears the lowest note possible is 12 (“Keys Octave -1”) based on my MIDI Monitor, but I have some gear that receives notes 0-11 to control some voices and this is not currently possible without connecting an external MIDI keyboard to the LoopA

@panelist thanks for your feedback! Yes, this should be easily possible, i’ve added it onto the wishlist for the next LoopA software release.

one more suggestion:

an “arm all” mode would be great (if it’s technically possible). my use case is to live record playing from Nord Drum 3 pads, where each pad transmits/receives on a different channel. I’d like to be able to record each pad on a different track, but record a whole performance on all the pads at once. This would allow for further manipulate the sounds individually with track FX and mutes.

It could be enabled with shift+arm, but then the “help” screen would need to be moved. Maybe “help” could be moved to the “about” slot and the “about” slot sacrificed as this info is prompted on startup.

@panelist thanks for the suggestion! We had this request a few times before, but it won’t be possible easily on the LoopA v2 platform - as we’re currently only recording to the actively visible track. I’ll write down the request anyways and have some think time, if it can be implemented anyways somehow 🙂.

Hello Hawkeye and all members of this forum.
I am new to this forum and dont know if this feature request came up already in the past.
I would love to have a Selection Range in the Note Editor, so that I could select all notes and change the length of all notes (like in ARP mode) or note key. I also wish I could select a more detailed grid while Step Recording and maybe a little indication on the screen of what the actual Step Advancing is.

But all in all - I really love the new firmware!!!

Also thanks a lot for your improvement suggestions - as you said, at the moment you can only mass-select and edit notes with the MatriX, but i’ve written it down in the firmware improvement wishlist.
Also noted for better on-screen indications and grids - it’s all a bit cramped with only having 256 pixels available, but i’ve also written this down, maybe we can improve some things in a future release.
