I want to clarify something that confused me, may help others..
I love the LFO’s in midibox but got stuck yesterday. I think I now understand and want to explain here and ask a question.
My discovery is that LFO”steps” does not necessarily mean steps of the track you are in. LFO steps always means 16th note steps. So you have to double the LFO steps if you set the track divider to 8th note steps, (because the track will take twice as long to loop) or half the number of LFO steps if you set the track to 32nds. This is confusing, but it works. I recognized this when looking at the MStep count under the Exit/Save menu.
In my opinion, the LFO settings screen should always represent the number of steps for the track divider setting you are currently working in. It should account for this setting when displaying the LFO Steps and reset point. Having to convert numbers and dividers/time should be minimized.
This might be a simple OS display tweak? Maybe I could forward this to the almighty TK??
Groove on!!
