TVS Diode orientation

Hello @all. I am a little bit confused about the orientation of the TVS Diode. In my case it only fits when it is in the upside down position. Otherwise the big pad dont fit. Is that correct?

Hi Marty, please take a photo of what you mean. The diode must be mounted with the flat legs of the gullwings on the PCB.

Thank you very much for asking for a photo :-).. As i wanted to make the photo with my eyes open :-))) i saw that i only had to rotate it 90 degrees…
I had looked for the pads in wrong direction.

I soldered it - now it works perfect - had flashed the board now!
