Matrix Macro screen access

Hi@,
on my MatriX I can reach the Macro screen only with continuously pressed Shift key. After releasing the key, the Matrix turns back in the last screen mode.
Is this behavior normal? According to the user manual (page 14), the Macro screen should remain in this mode.

arthur_2A could you try to press and very quickly release the SHIFT key again? There should be less than 0.3 seconds between push and release event.
Thanks for your valuable feedback: we probably should make this time duration configurable in Setup to allow for a longer allowed timespan to trigger permanent Macro mode.

The word I like to use is to “tap” the shift button to remain in the macro screen. The idea is (maybe it’s a bit counterintuitive at first) that you hold down shift to later jump out of the mode when released. So it is only active as long as you are working in the screen if held down.

Hi guys, yes, that was the trick!
A very quick tap works fine. Normally is described well in the User Manual… “tap” and don’t press 😃
