@forestcaver yes, that is correct, it’s possible to stack otherwise impossible drum rolls like this, if the MIDI hardware drum synth is quick enough 🙂.
@Eamoex another possibility for “sub-step” editing on the SEQ v4/v4+ is to increase the track length and change the track tempo divider. Like this you can “blow up” a 16-step sequence to 256 steps, each SEQ v4+ screen showing what was a single step (one sixteenth note) before, allowing to set other notes inbetween.
