Hi all, I’ve been eying the LoopA for a little while now, and I’m curious if it can do a few things. I know this is a lot of questions, but any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Can LoopA be connected to USB MIDI devices, without using a computer? If not, how are people doing this?
I see that you can set a dedicated input port/channel for each track, which seems like it lets you effectively assign a track to a synth, using its own keyboard to control it, even if that track isn’t active. Is that correct?

2a. I also see that the Fwd setting in the TRACK screen allows forwarding of MIDI note data on the current track only when the track is active, which seems like it lets you share a single keyboard across multiple tracks, to effectively control multiple synths. Is that correct?

2b. In my studio, I have a combination of synths that have keyboards that should each always control only their own synth, regardless of which track is active, and desktop synths that have no keyboard, that should be controlled by a dedicated controller, but only when that track is active. Is there a way to do both of these things? (On the AKAI Force, you’d set per-track input port/channel as-necessary but in the system settings, set “Global” port/channel(s). On Squarp Hapax, it’s called “Active Track”)

When is the ROUTER screen used instead of setting MIDI in/out per channel?
Can I record to multiple tracks simultaneously?
Is it possible to configure a track to output to multiple MIDI channels simultaneously?
Is there any kind of global swing/shuffle control?
Are there templates for easily starting a new project with track settings already configured? Or do new songs always start with the same track settings?
Is there any way to Undo/Redo via footswitch or external MIDI control?
Is it possible to set a track to a fixed velocity (not a % but an actual fixed value)?
Is it possible to do math (eg 1:2 or 2:2 or 1:4) to control how often a given note triggers, or is only % probability supported?
Are there any global or per-track LFOs for modulating CC values or other parameters? If so, is it possible to run them free (not synced to the beat)?
